Water Tank Rebates with Queensland State Government
The Queensland State Government has announced the Home WaterWise Rebate Scheme which includes rebates to all residential households throughout the state for rebates of up to $1000 for rainwater tanks, pumps and diverters and installation.
There are no minimum requirements for tank volume and you do not have to plumb the tank for internal use within the house unless you choose to do so.
Where space restricts installation of a single large-volume tank, you can install a number of smaller volume tanks to achieve the required volume. However, the rebate available is still up to $1000, regardless of the number of tanks installed.
The Home WaterWise Rebate Scheme and the Home Garden WaterWise Rebate Scheme are Queensland Government incentive packages designed to help Queenslanders make their homes and gardens more water efficient - every drop is precious!
